“As a fitness professional in cardiac rehabilitation at Sacred Heart
Hospital Hart Center and McKenzie-Willamette Hospital (Eugene, OR) occupational
and physical therapy departments, I gained extensive experience fitness
training men and woman of all ages and physical abilities.
I was raised in Bozeman, Montana and lived in Oregon, so I developed
a real love for the great outdoors that is part of my fitness regimen.
I enjoy road and mountain biking, as well as hiking. I also competed
in alpine and cross-country skiing, and played tennis and ran cross-country
at the collegiate level, so I have a strong sense of conditioning needs
for these strenuous sports.
Now that my competitive days are long behind me, I enjoy weight training,
cycling, running (shuffling), and yoga. As a Wellness Director and Personal
Trainer, taking all these diverse fitness aspects and helping people
discover the variety of ways to stay fit is a real highlight in my life
and career.
