Drea brings a unique combination of experiences to her work with Savvy Fitness clients at Serrano Country Club and The Low Back AcademyŽ. Having taught dance and worked as an aide in a physical therapy office, Drea brings a whole body approach to her work. She teaches cardio kickboxing and Aquacise, and enjoys taking her clients’ cross-country skiing, hiking and on snowshoe treks. “Because I’ve been a professional dancer and choreographer, I’ve had the opportunity to appreciate what the human body can do when it is viewed as a complete entity and not just muscles and joints. Breathing techniques, stretching, balance and stability are all important steps in creating a balanced program for the whole body. I enjoy helping people get their minds into their muscles – by focusing on themselves and their workouts, they are better able to perform each movement properly and see benefits more quickly. It’s also important that they relax and feel comfortable, with me as well as with the facility. Consistency is critical to the success of any fitness program. If clients can be honest with themselves and commit to making exercise part of their lifestyle, they can reach their goals. Everyone has a different goal, different perspectives, different limitations – by embracing their individuality and sharing their unique qualities with me, we can work together and make sure goals become reality.”
